2008 Yamaha SHO or HO? confused, SHO engine but non supercharged?

Hey guys I just bought a 2008 fx, I have been looking for this question everywhere with no luck that is why I will ask here.

The fx that i bought has an SHO body, as well as cluster, everything is SHO exept engine which is not supercharged. Just the 1800cc high output engine. Have anyone ever heard of this, was this an option at the dealer?

Any info will be appreciated.

2002 Polaris virage instrument panel quit working as well as gonna into full throttle

My nephew had my jet ski out and it ran fine for an hr after he put back carburetor. Then the instrument panel wentout and now it idles but won't get intomfull throttle. Could the choke have anything to do with it not gonna throttle. What about the panel ..

I charged tshe battery and it won't hold. Need new battery. Will this cure the problem.

Desperate... Please responsed

'99 Tigershark 900 tsl hard starting

We first bought out tigershark used from a private seller. The first time on the water, the drain plug on the actual engine unknowingly came out. The Bilge pump kept up with the copious amount of water spewing from the engine until the fuse got wet and shorted out resulting in the engine compartment almost entirely filling with water. We were able to drain the water and dry the interior, but now it is extremely hard to start cold. Once started, the ski can be restarted quickly even after sitting for 30+ minutes. The spark plugs were replaced, but is there anything else that can/should be done to make it easier to start. Any suggestions would be helpful

I had my 2000 yamaha gp1200r engine rebuilt and was wondering how the crankshaft and connecting rods get its lubrication.

99 Tigershark 640+ no speed in water.

Ok I have a 1999 Tigershark 640. Runs great on the trailer, Compression is 140/140 so fairly good. But in the water it will only go about 18mph. Im thinking it is a worn impellor.. It has new reeds and battery. Also previous owner disconnected oil tank and just premixed the gas and oil before hand.. Im not sure if that would affect anything.. but just a note. I am looking to get it back to normal running power and speed maybe alittle extra. Any ideas on the problem and any cheap upgrades or hints to get more power and performance out of it?

2000 GTX RFI seems to loose electric power at high RPMS

Hey guys. My seadoo seems to loose electricle power at high rpm. When it is on trailor or in water it will shut down. At a certain rpm I have noticed the guage will blank out and the ski shuts down. It fires right back up. If I ride it and dont hit that rpm i can ride it all day if its sitting on trailor I can gas it and soon as it hits. A certain limit off it goes. It is at the higher rpm range aswell. I can ride next to my 700 Yamaha all day just cant outrun it.changed oil new battery sameissue. Oh yea this think only has55 hrs on it.

Polaris SLT 700 Crank, No spark

I have an SLT 700 and it has no spark. I need to know where to start. I am new to PWC's but been in small engine repair for years. I just need to know where to start..I am helping out a buddy so I want to keep all cost's down. I would like to also say that we had the engine running before, then he swapped it into another PWC adn now it wont run. I really have no experience with CDI's so all help is much appreciated..

95 Polaris intrument cluster not working

I have a 95 Polaris in which the intrument cluster does not work. I got another 95 parts with the intrument cluster working, but when placed the working one on the non worker on it does not work now. When I placed the working one back on the parts one it works. Do I have an issue with the brain box?

04 xlt800 Runs then stalls and wont start for a while

My ski starts up fine on the trailer at home and runs and revs fine, but when i take it out it runs for about 5min the just stalls. When i try to re start its like the battery is flat or the engine is locked. If i wait a few minutes it will start a run fine for about 10 seconds then stalls again, then i cant start it again. So i towed it in and put it on the trailer, when i got home (only 10minutes) i plug the tap in and start it up and it runs fine. I replaced the plugs and drained the fuel and replaced with fresh fuel and check the filter. I took it out a second time and it did the same thing??????
The ski has 49hrs on it.
Any help would be great.
