96 sea doo bog down

I have a 1996 seadoo gtx starts up an idle good when i give it gas it take right off til it hit about 10 mile hours then it bogs out an it wont go past 10. if i shut it off an trun it back on a couple times it will work for 20 to 30 min . And some times it wont work. Put new carb on it still dose it,check plugs an bypass fuel line didnt help comp 135/150 help ???

it is starving for fuel do away with the selector switch on the fuel lines and go directly from the reserve pick up in the tank to the fuel pump,, see if it fixes things, the switches get all clogged up

i try that an even ran a new gas line to a gas can an still did it

what do the plugs look like? wet dry balck brown??

plug were wet with oil gas mix. I mix gas an oil pump has leak so wanted to play it safe while working on
it.

if the plugs are wet they won't fire

My 96 xp started to do the same thing. If sits for a while, then I start it, it will bog down, but turn on/off couple times and it usually goes great then. I rebuilt carb, bypassed fuel selector switch, and replaced plugs several times (which don't seem that bad). . . . but it still ends up bogging quite a bit. ????????????????????

if it's smoking a lot you may have a lot of oil that leaked from the rotary valve compartment in to the crank area and it is fouling your plugs out. this happens quite often with those engines.

i had the same problem it would get up to about 10 then just rev up after tht...i got a new battery because my other one dide then i took it out the next weekend and i was goin about 40 and it just stopped and wouldnt start again then wen i got home it would start everytime i pressed the button
