After doing that the next number in the sequence should start blinking. Do the same thing, and pound the id no. until you see the 9. When you see the 9 nail the id set again. Repeat the above process again for the third number, aftwards, the meter should turn itself off. Remove the lanyard clip you had on earlier, reconnect that gray connector you disconnected earlier, and put your lanyard back in.
