What oil can I use for tiger shark 1100 Li

Hello all!

I just picked up a 1999 1100 Li ski and do not have any oil for it. I have searched around but have not been able to discover any of the factory oil for the ski, however I have found 3 posible DFI / FICHT 2 stroke oils.

1. Amsoil hp Injector Oil (Not in stock and will ahve to wait 5 days to get)
2. MERCURY OPTMAX /DFI OUTBOARDS SYNTHETIC OIL (Made for Merc motors)
3. XD50 EVINRUDE ETEC FICHT DIRECT INJECTION BRP RAM OIL


So far these are the only 3 FICHT / DFI oil I can find.

Any advice? Any big chains that might have some oil I can use (Walmart, autozone, Etc.)? I do live in a small town so there is not many places here that owuld ahve it, and forsure is no arctic cat dealer.

I would suspect any 2 stroke oil that has the correct rating will work,, never personally touched a tiger shark or a polaris so I am only guessing

I think regular 2 stroke oil will blow the motor. It has the FITCH system that shoots oil directly into the crank case (I think ths how it works) instead of mixing itt with the gas. I think it needs special DI oil.

yes however I said what has the correct rating,, I didn't say any 2 stroke oil, any oil that has the correct rating

ok, I am on 5 forums that have tigger sharks on them. I have yet to recive a obsolute answer on 5 forums. I guess there wasent many of these skis sold! I could buy the manual for $80 but I am pretty usre its gunna tell me to use special arctic cat oil thats not made any more. I took my ski out once and love it but its going to run out of oil some time. Hope some one can give me an answer or a resroce to find this answer before I put the wrong oil in and destroy my ski.

the rating is all you need to match, any make oil with the same rating is fine.
