2001 STX DI Low power running rich

STX Rough Running any ideas?

Hi,having a problem with a 2001 STX DI starts right up but runs rough woun't develop full power, barely gets up on plane. No engine codes, sent EMM to DI Technologies and they said it was fine.The story behind it is that the engine was professionaly rebuilt, put it back in ski and it ran great for the first hour and then started running rough every since. I have checked the fuel pressure & pump, CPS, Capacitor, compression, all check out OK. It did have old gas in it from the winter when this happen but I have since replaced it all and have run it through with new gas but still no change. any ideas, what about broken Reed or slipped fly wheel?

does the oil smell like fuel ?? perhaps an injector is sticking,, running bad fuel in it was a bad idea and may have messed up things

Thanks Jeff, Can we use injector cleaners with these engines or is their a problem with it disolving the lines?

I use it all the time
