Exclamation 2005 Kawasaki 900stx meter help

My meter just went blank. I called Kawasaki to ask if they had issues with this model and they told me no. The jet ski was rolled last summer and everything worked fine. Ran it 1/2 of a season this year and it started to show condesation behind the meter and it went blank. Anyone ever get this meter to come back? How? Know of any used parts places to obtain another one? This is a very expensive part. I do not agree with Kawasaki. I think they have some of there meters not sealed correctly. Has this happened to anyone else. I am getting no where with Kawasaki on this issue. I feel that these meters should be so sealed that they should never get moisture behind them.

Thank You....I found a used meter...not the exact one I needed though....only 3 model years that my exact meter was made.(04-06) Part # 25031-3747 (Very hard to find) I put in a meter from a 2000 1100 STX jet ski. Part # 25031-3713. Everything works but the MPH. Out of 3 plugs, 2 matched perfect and the 3rd one did not. The 3rd plug had a 4 spot plug and mine has a 2 spot plug in the wiring harness. Just greesed the 3rd plug with dialelectrical grease to prevent corosion. I can deal with loosing the MPH, its not that big of a deal. Espessally when you compare the prices between a used part and a new part. My difference between the 2 was about $450. I will take the loss of the MPH for that. Still very upset with Kawasaki that they did not even want to help on their end. These meters should never have water compromise their system. I take very good care of my ski and get compliments all the time on how clean the engine compartment is. Plus when the meter went out it only had about 46 hrs. on it. I will have a 2nd thought the next time I am looking to purchase a jet ski!
